Emergency psychiatric services provide support to those who may be struggling with suicidal and homicidal ideations, psychosis, severe depression, anxiety and co-occurring substance abuse issues. Our 24-hour helpline puts you in immediate contact with mental health services, including telephone counseling, in-person evaluations, intervention, and assessment.
You can get confidential, immediate help for yourself or a friend or loved one facing:
- Substance abuse
- Drug use
- Thoughts of suicide
- Questions about addiction rehabilitation
Services are available through the emergency department as well. If presenting through the emergency department, medical clearance will be obtained prior to being seen by a trained mental health provider. Upon meeting with the mental health provider, you will be evaluated using evidence-based practices to determine the appropriate level of care for your symptoms (i.e., inpatient, outpatient, case management, open access, etc.)
