Gabriele Sasso Named Director of Pharmacy at St. Mary’s Healthcare

AMSTERDAM, N.Y., June 12, 2024—Gabriele Sasso, of Hagaman, has been promoted to director of pharmacy at St. Mary’s Healthcare, responsible for pharmacy operations throughout the St. Mary’s organization. Previously, he served as clinical pharmacy manager.

Sasso serves on numerous St. Mary’s committees, including the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, ICU-Based Council, Board Quality and Patient Safety Committee, and more.

He earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and is board certified in pharmacotherapy and infectious diseases. Sasso is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and of Phi Lambda Sigma, the National Pharmacy Leadership Society.
